There are a total of 51 guest rooms and suites.  Our suites are two bedrooms.  They do not have a living room.

No.  However, on the 2nd  floor, there is a balcony facing Ocean Street and a sundeck that faces The Beach.

4:00 PM. Early check-in requests are based upon hotel occupancy and are never guaranteed.  Should you arrive early, you can enjoy the pool and beach services while you wait for your room to be ready.

11 AM. Late check-out requests are based upon hotel occupancy and never guaranteed.  In order to provide parking and beach access, cars must be removed by 12pm and beach tags/ lanyard returned no later than 11 am at check-out.

Yes.  The Inn of Cape May provides off-street parking for one car per guest room/ suite.

For the comfort of all guests, quiet hours begin at 11pm and end 7am.

Yes, every guest room is equipped with a 43”, 4K, flat screen tv.

No. For your rest and relaxation, The Inn of Cape May does not have telephones in guest rooms.  There are USB ports to charge your phone. Charging cables are available for sale at the front desk.

No. Refrigerators are available to rent at $25 per day. Availability is limited. Please call and speak to a front desk agent to confirm.

No. Iron and ironing boards are available upon request at no charge.

Yes. Pak n plays are available upon request at no charge.  There is a limited amount and not all guest rooms provide enough space for a pak n play. Please call and speak to a front desk agent to confirm availability and space.

No. Service Animals are welcome.  A service animal is defined by the state of New Jersey (New Jersey definition) defines service animals as “Any dog individually trained to the requirements of a person with a disability.” It encompasses service dogs for physical, mental, intellectual, developmental, and psychological disabilities, making it much more inclusive than other states. Yes. There is an outdoor pool and kiddy pool.  The Inn of Cape May provides towels for the pool.  Please bring your towels from home for the beach.  The Inn cannot provide towels for the beach.  The sand  causes harm to our washers and dryers.

Yes. At check-in you will receive two beach tags and a lanyard for two beach chairs and an umbrella each day.  Please bring your towels from home for the beach.  The Inn cannot provide towels for the beach.  The sand causes harm to our washers and dryers.  Please note: Beach service is provided daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; weather permitting. Umbrellas will not be staked if the wind speed exceeds 14 mph. Should the Cape May Beach Patrol deem it unsafe for patrons to swim and/ or occupy the beach, we will be required to cease service until permitted.

Yes. Two beach tags are provided per guest room. The City of Cape May requires Beach Tags for anyone 12 years of age or older.

Yes. Ocean 7 is a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Al fresco dining is available in season. The Porch offers coffee, cocktails and a full menu for outdoor dining.  Our coffee shop boasts La Colombe coffee and a wide selection of specialty coffee drinks.  Please see our website for hours of operation throughout the year as they will change based on the season.

Yes.  Ocean 7 accepts reservations for large parties and has a private dinning room for special celebrations.

No, for parties of 6 or less but strongly recommended during the summer months.

Yes, for large parties of more than 6 guests any time of year.

No. The Porch is first come, first served.

Yes. In season, daily live music is played on Lawn or The Porch.  Please see the Entertainment tab on our website for more information.

Yes. The Inn of Cape May has a large lawn for relaxing.  The Porch is available for all year round for coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.

RESORT FEE

At The Inn of Cape our goal is to provide a consistently elevated level of hospitality. Resort fees help us to maintain this level of service and amenities.

A resort fee of 5% will be charged to your total room cost.

DEPOSITS & REFUNDS

As with most Jersey Shore hotels and inns, a deposit of 50% is required to secure a reservation. Final balance will be charged to the credit card on file 2 weeks prior to arrival.  One-night stays and reservations made within two weeks of arrival will require a 100% deposit.  Deposits are not refundable unless notified more than 14 days PRIOR to arrival date. Sorry, no exceptions. If eligible for a refund, you will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Deposits cannot be transferred. Deposit and cancellation terms strictly applied. 

  • Extra Guest in Room (13 years or older): $25 per night.
  • If keys are not returned at check-out a $200 fee per key will be charged.

UPON ARRIVAL

At check-in you will receive 2 beach tags and a lanyard for two beach chairs and an umbrella each day.

  • Please Note: a $200 charge for the lanyard and each beach tag will apply if not returned at check-out.

The Inn of Cape May provides off-street parking for one car per guest room. License plate number of vehicle required. Please keep the parking pass on the car’s dashboard for the length of your stay.
